SMART Goal Setting
A goal is something we intend to do. We can set long term (more than 6 months) or short term goals (less than 6 months) for ourselves. We can set goals for in different areas of our lives including career goals, health related goals, educational goals or leisure goals. Often we fail to achieve our goals because we don't make our goals specific enough. By using the SMART goal principle we can increase our likelihood of achieving our goals.
