Students will not be required to compare themselves to national or provincial standards but instead will be encouraged to set personal goals according to individual levels of fitness.   

Personal Fitness Appraisal (a.ka. Fitness Testing)

Students will complete a personal fitness appraisal at the beginning, middle and end of the course to assess their health related fitness in:
  • Muscular Endurance
  • Muscular Strength
  • Cardiovascular Endurance
  • Flexibility

In addition, students will assess their skill related fitness ability in:
  • Balance
